I’m not a food photographer, but a friend who owns a sushi restaurant asked me to photograph all his menu items for his restaurants new menu.  I knew that photographing 100 menu items would be no easy task, but I did not realize how grueling the work would be!  What I expected to be a 3-4 hour photo shoot turned out to be 5-6 hours.  At a certain point I had to ask my friend to close his restaurant for a few hours so that we could finish the photo shoot or we would never get done.

Fortunately, we did finish, and my friend gave me all the sushi made for the photo shoot to take home.  My family and in-laws stuffed ourselves with sushi for dinner, and will be eating the leftovers all day today, too!
